Instead of relying on open containers, this trapping station uses a closed system that optimises the attractiveness of proven household remedies.
Fruit fly trap for household remedies – the modern evolution
Many people use vinegar, juice, and a drop of dish soap in open bowls. However, open containers can leak, often smell unpleasant, and look unaesthetic in the kitchen.
Our mini trapping station uses the lure of your household remedies but packages them in a hygienic system: The flies are attracted by the scent inside. When trying to reach the source, they stick securely to the attached sticky board. This keeps the trap clean from the outside, and the insects are fixed where they no longer disturb.
Discrete application directly in the fruit basket
Thanks to its extremely compact design and appealing fruit-like appearance, this sticky trap is a true master of disguise. Place the trap inconspicuously directly where the flies occur. Thanks to the purely mechanical principle of operation, the trap works free of chemical insecticides and is therefore ideally suited for use near food.
Easy handling: Fill, plug, done
The usage is very straightforward:
- Fill the lower part of the trap with a mixture of vinegar and juice. A drop of dish soap breaks the surface tension.
- Close the lid and attach the sticky board on top.
- Place the trap discretely.
Since the trap is made of high-quality plastic, it can be easily cleaned if necessary and is reusable again and again. A recipe for the ideal lure mixture is included with every set.
